This class helps real estate agents dip their toe into the commercial fields. Students will learn the players in a commercial transaction, key differences between commercial and residential real estate, types of commercial properties, types of commercial transactions, commercial contracts, and resources. If you’ve ever considered working in the field of commercial real estate this class is for you.

Michael R. Schoonover has 29 years of experience in property management, development, acquisition and diposition. He focus’s his practice on vacant land and commercial real estate. Currently, he is the Managing Director of RE/MAX Honors–Commercial Division in Puyallup, WA. He has served on numerous Washington REALTORS® committees, PAG’s, Task Forces and as the chair of the Legislative Steering committee as well as its Vice President of Government Affairs. As an instructor/speaker for Washington REALTORS®, REBAC® and the REALTORS® Land Institute Michael has taught classes and given keynote addresses around the country and at several national conventions.
