Phil Dunphy of ‘Modern Family’: not just a real estate agent, but a REALTOR®
On Wednesday, May 4th, 2016, a new episode of the hit sitcom ‘Modern Family’ aired on ABC. Phil Dunphy (played by Ty Burrell), one of the main characters of the show, is a real estate and has often been shown sitting open houses or showing homes throughout the 7 seasons of the show. And now, thanks to a partnership with the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), Dunphy is showing his REALTOR® Pride. In Wednesday night’s episode, Dunphy explained to Gloria (played by Sofia Vergara) that he’s not just a real estate agent – he’s a REALTOR®, a member of a national association that abides by a strict code of ethics.
At the end of the episode, Dunphy is shown proudly wearing his REALTOR® pin.
The partnership between Modern Family and NAR will continue. In addition to the brand integration in Wednesday’s episode, a number of commercials starring Phil Dunphy have been produced.
