Located in Kennewick, WA. TCAR serves over 1,600 REALTORS® (includes the management of  3 smaller REALTOR® associations and a regional MLS).  TCAR has a consolidated budget of  $2.7 million dollars, up to 9 professional staff, with seasoned and supportive volunteer leadership.

 

As the largest REALTOR® association in central Washington state, we are dedicated to empowering our members, advocating for industry standards, and fostering community engagement. We are seeking a leader who can take our association and those we manage to new heights and ensure our members thrive in an ever-evolving market.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management/HR. A strong team-builder with HR experience who can help staff learn and grow.
  • Financial Management. Has the ability and experience to manage TCAR’s multiple budgets with careful stewardship.
  • Organizational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the association, ensuring efficient use of resources and maintaining high standards of excellence.
  • Association Management Services: Ability to effectively provide contract services to smaller local REALTOR® associations in central and southeast Washington state.
  • Community Collaboration: Foster collaboration with industry stakeholders, government agencies, and community partners to drive positive change and promote the interests of our members.
  • Strategic and Business Planning: Develop and implement innovative strategies to advance the mission and vision of the association.
  • Member Services: Cultivate strong relationships with members, understanding their needs, and providing valuable resources and support.
  • MLS Administration: Has knowledge of key MLS rules and regulations and administrative skills necessary to manage and oversee the regional MLS of which TCAR is a major shareholder
  • Public Speaking. Has experience with public speaking and working with the media.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in a similar role, preferably within the real estate industry or a related field. REALTOR® association management is strongly preferred. General business management and general association management are plusses.
  • Six to ten years of executive experience is strongly preferred with a minimum of two years
  • An undergraduate college degree or equivalent experience and/or education is preferred.
  • An RCE or CAE designation is preferred. Other leadership designations or certifications are a plus.
  • Focused on service to members.
  • Excellent communicator that motivates and empowers others
